With a lifetime experience as an artist, leaving the corporate world and making the jump into custom Framing didn't seem like such a leap of faith over 25 years ago. At ten years in with my career in accounting and traveling this amazing country I decided to go back to my first love... art.

Looking back at all the beautiful projects and memories I've made with our clientele I can never imagine doing anything else.

I enjoy volunteering for The Woodlands Art League. I do interior design and home staging for a realty firm. I also enjoy staying in shape while expressing myself through dance in zumba and have received my zumba instructor license.

My passion and enthusiasm for what I do, combined with years of experience in conservation framing to preserve your artwork, is always my main goal. Along with having a positive, professional and fun experience while choosing exactly what works perfectly with your art.

 My specialty is the ability to choose color combination, textures, and frame styles that are unique and one of a kind.

Shirley Anne

Custom Framer

Shirley Anne is a talented custom picture framer, with over 20 years of experience in color and design, woodworking, and customer service in the picture framing industry.

A brief career in modelling allowed her to travel and even took her as far as Tokyo, Japan. 

She is from Sydney, Australia, where she attended art college and studied drawing, painting, graphic design, sculpture, photography, and art history. From there she worked in animation for Hanna-Barbera Studios and went on to work for a local business manufacturing badges and crests for the Royal Australian Navy. The owner of the local business owned a store where he sold his personal art, and it was there that she first learned the art of custom picture framing. Prior to coming on board with DeSola Glass, Art & Frame she had her own custom picture framing business in Australia which included hosting art exhibitions for local artists.

She has called Texas home for over 20 years where she loves spending time with her family and pets, and enjoys painting, sketching, gardening, swimming, bike riding, and bird watching.
